Our Projects
During the 2024 severe flooding in Feni, Rangamati, Fatikcchari, Crisis Call Bangladesh, co-initiated by Risgen, played a vital role in providing much-needed relief to the affected communities. The initiative managed to distribute 4,412 packets of dry food and water, benefiting over 22,000 people. In addition, 910 family packages were delivered, helping to sustain 4,500 individuals for 10 days. Rescued over 1000+ people from flood affected areas.
This effort was made possible through contributions from individuals, organizations, and volunteers, with a total expense of 22,30,489 Taka. The success of this initiative demonstrated the power of community collaboration and generosity, ensuring that essential supplies reached those in critical need during a time of crisis.
On 21st August, 2024 Risgen Bangladesh organized an event titled “বিকল্পের সন্ধানে বাংলাদেশ,” presented by Munna’s Academy, at Creators Hub in Chittagong. The event gathered participants from various schools and colleges who showcased innovative models and ideas aimed at reforming Bangladesh. The atmosphere was filled with enthusiasm and a spirit of creativity as young minds presented their visions for a better future. After a series of impressive presentations and debates, Chittagong Govt. Girls High School was crowned the champion for their outstanding model. They were closely followed by Chittagong Cantonment Public College, who took the runner-up spot with their equally innovative proposal. This event highlighted the potential of the youth in driving positive change and inspired everyone present to think outside the box. The participants demonstrated not only their knowledge but also their passion for contributing to the nation’s progress. It was a celebration of fresh ideas and a showcase of the talent that Bangladesh holds for its future.
Risgen Inter School-College Futsal was an event organized by Risgen Bangladesh that connected school-college futsal teams together from across the region to compete in a spirited and exciting tournament.
Reflecting on an inspiring December field trip as part of the ‘EcoVenture with Climate Heroes’ event, organized by US Alumnus Taskin Habiba, an initiative of Study Of The US Institutes. This memorable journey took participants to the picturesque bank of the Bay of Bengal, offering students the chance to witness its breathtaking beauty and fostering a deep appreciation for the environment. It was a hands-on experience that complemented the knowledge gained during the climate change session. We extended our sincere gratitude to American Corner Chattogram for partnering with us as our venue provider. Proud to be the Co-organiser for this initiative.
Risgen open 2023 was a national open asian parliamentary debate competition where 32 teams across Bangladesh participated. We had a prominent judgement panel including best debaters around the country.
Our organization was proud enough to announce the launch of our Ramadan food distribution project. As we approached the holy month of Ramadan, we recognized the importance of giving back to those in need, as we are committed to making a positive impact on our community. Through this project, we distributed foods to the families and individuals who are struggling to make ends meet. We reached total of 3900+ individuals in 7 districts of Bangladesh during 29 Rmadan days.
We launched our very first free workshop, which was conducted by some prominent talented individuals on these topics: Basics of Film making, Basics of Animation, Basics of Robotics and Leadership in Action. 200+ students from different institutions of Bangladesh participated in it.
Unravel Crux was the very 3rd event of Risgen Bangladesh which was about two tremendous skills such as case solving and public speaking. A huge amount of participants from all over Bangladesh participated in this event. The event had an amazing outcome through reaching to creative youths to know about their creative ideas.
IT described humanity through Splendorous Artistry, launched on 20th May 2021, offered youths a platform to express their talents while aiding those in need. In a time when many struggle to meet basic needs due to the pandemic, a portion of the registration fee went for charity, merging creativity with compassion,being an online based non-profitable art event organised by Risgen Bangladesh. We reached 154k people through this event.
MEGASHOT 2020
“MEGA SHOT 2020” was the very first online event of RisGen Bangladesh which was organized for the young photographers of Bangladesh. In this pandemic situation, people are having a hard time to showcase their talents and practice their skills. In our daily life, we all like to capture photos with mobile or camera. Photography is passion to someone, someone takes it as hobby or do it for competition. So, RisGen Bangladesh tried to give them an opportunity to express their photographic genius via MEGA SHOT 2020. With an assorted judge panel, we had enveloped this event with 2 massive segments of DSLR Photography & Mobile Photography. Many of the people were satisfied with this journey and we got a huge public response from our very first event. We ended this event successfully with having a reach of around 18,000 and more than 230 photographers participated in this mega event.
